A full and rich creamy palate, creme caramel.
Rich chocolate at first, then baked oranges with soft wood spices flows across the palate
Poached pears, pink grapefruit, fresh orange peel, a light biscuit note and a trace of smoke.
The palate delivers sweet ripe fruits and smoke.
Surprisingly sweet and peppery to taste, at bottled strength, with a trace of salt and a warming, medium-length finish. Lingering heat.

Good stuff! –
An interesting concept, but at the end of it all there has to be a good product; and this is a delightful. Classic speyside sherried malt, 43% chocolate and orange, and a touch of spiciness on the finish. Cracking stuff.

What a gem of a whisky, Speyside style, with a light touch of smoke but really smooth in the mouth, decent price as well.
