On the Nose: Peat smoke, poached pear and malty notes – pineapple, vanilla and buttered burnt toast. Palate: Smooth & rich, leads to smoky bonfire & waves of gentle spice between puffs of smoke. The Finish: Very long, smoky and complex. An exceptionally elegant Islay whisky.
